Style Design College's humble beginnings are rooted in the one of the top Design capitals of the world: Milan, Italy. Founder of SDC, Mr. Claude Fourie, received his education and training from a renowned Italian Fashion school. On realising the need for an International standard of Design education in South Africa, Mr. Fourie returned home to set up the first successful Style Design College.
His family, your family
When becoming a SDC student you become part of the family. You join Mr. Fourie, his wife (an interior designer) and his wonderful children and their long line of family creatives. Students enjoy a close knit community which is made up of successful alumni, industry professionals and current students all with one thing in common - their passion for Style Design College and design perfection.
Style Design College prides itself in being out of the norm. The atmosphere is not institutional at all. To encourage creativity the founders have incorporated a funky, inspiring environment.

Our Focus
Apart from the many objectives that drive the Management and staff of SDC is one constant underlying focus - to ensure that graduates are rewarded with employment. Isn't that in fact what receiving a tertiary education is all about? Syllabi are structured and specific teaching methods used to ensure that each graduate possesses the need to know skills to find employment or even start their own businesses.
As a result SDC has enjoyed a 90% employment rate for all graduates for the past few years.
The Future
Style Design College is constantly expanding as a result of its popularity. New campuses are being set up while our team of expert Academics develop new courses to compliment the large variety already offered.
